02 Apr Five Compelling Reasons to Believe in God
In today’s YouTube video, we’re looking at five compelling reasons to believe in God.
Why would I be presenting evidence for the existence of God to people who are already Christians? Well, for two reasons. First, because in my experience, such evidence has strengthened my faith and encouraged my walk with God. It can be exhilarating to have one’s knowledge, and therefore faith, taken to a higher level.
Second, because sometimes life can get so hard that Christians “deconstruct.” That is, they reevaluate their faith and sometimes decide that they do not believe in God any more. As a preventative for that danger, if we come to understand – in a non-crisis context – that NOT believing in God is NOT an option, then when we face a crisis in life, it can help us hang in there with God and find the answers to our questions by moving closer to Him rather than rejecting Him.
